Thank you! The fact that you've even managed to find my small piece of the internet and are reading my first blog post means A LOT and I thank you.

KatieLou design feels like a natural step for me. I recently got married and thought it would be a great idea to make all of the bunting decor myself. I have a background in costume and sewing repeatative triangles for months didn't phase me. As I put the last 5m lengths together, KatieLou design was born.

I'm mostly going to be making and selling bunting. I'm not planning on making a living from my small business but I want to be able to make back the cost of the fabric and have a bit of pocket money left over. I also bought a Cricut in the lead up to the wedding (regretting not buying it sooner) So you'll also see a few vinyl decorated products. I love a positive affirmation on a keyring.

Finally, I'm also making scrunchies. I know they're popular and a lot of people are making them but I enjoy making them and they'll match the bunting.... who doesn't want their hair to match their wall decor.

Thank you for reading this short but sweet blog. Going forward I thinkI might keep these like a diary. Recording what I'm doing/ making day-to-day in my evenings as a small business owner.
